Because many of our cases are handled on contingent or alternative fee arrangements, all of the lawyers at Shore Chan DePumpo LLP have an opportunity to achieve compensation far in excess of the typical stair-step salaries and bonuses offered by most law firms.
Shore Chan DePumpo's Summer Clerkship Program is an extension of our associate recruiting and firm development curriculum. We recruit law students from across the country with outstanding academics, participation in law journals, mock trial, moot court, and/or other specialized experience, including technical, to participate in our Summer associate program.
Shore Chan DePumpo Summer associates receive on-the-job training and are given the opportunity to experience associate life at the firm through observing hearings, attending depositions, and trials, working with clients, and receiving work assignments relevant to the cases they are assigned to.
Through this program, Shore Chan DePumpo Summer associates are given a realistic experience of associate life at the firm. With the program, each Summer associate is assigned a mentor who teams with a partner in providing work and case assignments. While the Summer Associate Program is a "working clerkship," the firm does provide various special events and social gatherings to introduce the Summer associates to the other lawyers and staff in the firm.
In addition to participating in on-campus interviews at various law schools, Shore Chan DePumpo also welcomes qualified applicants to submit resumes for consideration for our Summer Associate Clerkship Program.
